Although I came to acting relatively late in life I now work professionally for a number of acting companies as well as doing occasional film work. Much of my working life has been spent in engineering and IT, ranging from multinational corporations to not-for-profits. I have held management positions, including as part of a major relief operation for an international aid organisation. It is this varied experience that helps me to understand the challenges managers often face and which helps me to play my part in making Focal Point’s training as realistic and productive as possible.
When not working with Focal Point I am often still acting, helping keep alive a small local theatre, and when conditions allow, sailing my little dinghy on the sea near where I live.
