TRACY POWLEY

Tracy is an experienced sales and management trainer.

She started her career in sales in 1986, working for a large business publishing house and managing a team of telephone sales executives. After 3 years she moved to Australia working in a similar role for Australian Consolidated Press. Returning to the UK in 1992, she joined a start up recruitment consultancy, specialising in recruiting within the media industry. Her role with Phee Farrer Jones and The Graduate Recruitment Company spanned 6 years, the last two years as a partner in the business.

In 1998 she left to become a trainer with Learning Curve - a training consultancy specialising in developing individuals within the recruitment industry. She gained her Certificate in Training Practice in 1999 and in 2001 became a freelance trainer, setting up her own training and development business.

She has worked with a range of recruitment companies from small partnerships to large multi site operations and across various marketplaces. She uses a variety of training methods including group based training and one to one coaching, with a strong emphasis on pre and post course support.

Her experience combines strong training and facilitation skills with hands on experience of managing and growing a recruitment business in a highly competitive market.
