Aim

The aim of this module is raise the self awareness of those involved in managing and leading.  This includes the giving and receiving of feedback.

    • their levels of introversion and extroversion
    • how they tend to gather information, make decisions and organise themselves
    • their approach to coaching
    • how they prefer to handle conflict
    • their levels of assertion
    • their ability to handle stress
    • their level of time management skills
  • understand and use the concept of the Johari Window to raise self awareness in themselves and others
  • identify the guidelines and skills needed to give and receive feedback effectively

The event will be participative with a variety of training aids used to cater for the differing learning styles likely to be present in the group.  To ensure the opportunity to learn is maximised roleplays will be used.  Respecting the need for confidentiality delegates are invited to share their experiences in this area and to ask questions at any time.
