Mike has a comprehensive background in
banking and management training, which he gained through
his career with HSBC
over many years.
His experience at HSBC included all aspects of lending and
risk management and prior to taking up his subsequent training
responsibilities he attained several senior credit related
positions. These ranged from conventional branch management,
control functions in various specialist Head Office departments
(including the handling of difficult recovery situations),
to senior portfolio responsibility for business and corporate
accounts.
His training role at HSBC was that of Senior Risk Management
trainer at the Bank's Global Group Management Training College
in the UK.
Since leaving the Bank he has continued a very successful
financial training career with particular emphasis on the
investment banking sector both in the UK and the off-shore
banking environment.
He has also developed a niche in the financial recruitment
agency business where his expertise has enabled his clients
to become more effective by gaining knowledge of the industry,
the job roles and products.
Mike is also Tutor for the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
