JOANNA SARGENT
Joanna is a confident and energetic Recruitment Sales Training
Consultant.
Having graduated with an honours
degree in Psychology in 1989 Joanna joined The Daily Telegraph,
to work for the Classified
Advertising Sales Team. She worked on a number of divisions
before successfully launching a brand new advertising section
called “The Emporium” which advertised mail order
gifts all year round.
In 1992 she joined Executive Connections as a Recruitment
Consultant, specialising in placing accountants and finance
professionals into merchant banks and financial institutions
both in the City and countrywide. She was promoted to Senior
Consultant and went on to become one of the top revenue generators.
Joanna then went to work for QD Finance,
a start up division of the well-established Quarry Dougal
Legal recruitment consultancy.
After 18 months she decided to pursue a career in training
and took the opportunity to move to Computer Futures, to
work as an “in-house” trainer within the Group
Training & Development department. Here Joanna was fully
involved with all aspects of training including responsibility
for training a four day induction course covering the entire
recruitment process.
Since leaving Computer Futures in 1999, Joanna has been
working as a freelance training consultant specialising in
training new and experienced recruitment consultants. She
has written and developed bespoke training courses to cover
the core skills required in recruitment. |
