Janet Harvey- Mott FREC
Janet Harvey-Mott has been providing training
and consultancy services to salespeople since 1991, following
her successful career as a Recruitment Consultant.
She designs and delivers both public and in-house long-term
skills development programmes for those new to sales, through
to those who need to successfully manage a sales team.
Janet first entered the recruitment industry
in 1977 when she joined a London based privately owned, multi-branch
operation
placing temporary and permanent office, catering and industrial
staff.
In the early eighties Janet became a Branch
Manager, then Area Sales Manager of a group of seven offices
based
in central
London. Mid-eighties, the company became part of a major
Plc and began to expand dramatically. During this time
Janet was responsible for locating and launching several
of those
branches throughout the Home Counties. In 1986 Janet was appointed Sales Director and went on to
help the company diversify into new market sectors such as
Accountancy and I.T.
Janet went on to set up and run a small independent and
more specialist recruitment consultancy placing permanent,
temporary and contract staff in secretarial, accountancy
and technical fields.
These days, as well as being a freelance
Training Consultant, Janet is a personal tutor for students
of the Recruitment & Employment
Confederation (REC) Foundation Award and the Certificate
in Recruitment Practice.
During the last decade, Janet has found many of her previously
acquired skills transferable into other industries, whether
call-centre based or field sales staff. Her enthusiastic
and motivational approach has inspired confidence and action
in many an inexperienced or disillusioned salesperson. |
