Greensleeves Homes Trust - Greensleeves has 17 residential care and nursing homes for older people, and a team of home and deputy managers working hard to provide the highest standards of care across the group. The Trust stand out in the Care sector for investing in their managers and we have worked with the whole management team for the last 8 years. Last month we were delighted to run a session for one home bringing the managers and senior carers together to plan for the next 6 months, giving them renewed focus and motivation. We are also working with the group Finance Director to design a Finance for Non Financial Managers workshop to help with budgeting and forecasting skills.
Morgan Hunt Recruitment - Last month saw the launch of 2 management development programmes for Morgan Hunt; a modular programme for new and aspiring managers and a series of punchy, highly focussed “bite-sized” sessions for more experienced managers. Morgan Hunt has a strong belief in developing staff, so it is always a pleasure to work with them and we are looking forward to seeing everyone’s progress over the next few months.
Solgar Vitamins and Herbs - Having worked with Solgar a year ago on some management development, it has been very rewarding to come back and work with their customer service and technical teams. Yet another example of a forward looking company, wanting to be in the best possible shape to grow as the market picks up and provide the highest standards of service to their customers. Our trainer Janet has run two highly participative workshops, helping the teams to develop their skills and identify actions to ensure they provide their “gold standard” service.
Southbank Centre - Run by our trainer Heather, this month saw the last of our diversity and inclusion workshops for the moment. They have had such a positive impact the HR team would like to factor in a number of sessions for new staff coming on board each year. We are also delighted to be involved in their newly launched talent management programme for hosts – the guys on the front line of customer service and dealing with the visitors to the southbank centre. Another great example of their proactive investment in staff!

I joined Stella and Tracy at Focal Point in 2003 and have seen both the Company and my role evolve during this time. I now work closely with the management team to achieve and improve business efficiently. To re-energise myself after a day in the office, I like to go to Zumba classes in the evening!
