Investing in our team
Carrying on our theme of valuing people, this month we have been holding the performance reviews for our support team. They are a wonderful team who are central to the service we provide to our clients and because they are so good it would be easy to take them for granted. But we know how vital it is to invest time with each individual and ensure we don’t make assumptions about how they feel or what is important to them. Recognition for our work at the City of London Corporation
We are delighted that our recent project working with City Surveyors has been picked from a large array of initiatives across the corporation, as a case study to illustrate one of their core values - Leading by example. The case studies are designed to help the organisation’s 3 core values (Lead, Empower, Trust ) come alive for managers and staff and give pointers to other departments tor embedding them in their teams. We are thrilled the project has had such an impact. (see also Who we are working with)
I joined Stella and Tracy at Focal Point in 2003 and have seen both the Company and my role evolve during this time. I now work closely with the management team to achieve and improve business efficiently. To re-energise myself after a day in the office, I like to go to Zumba classes in the evening!
