We are delighted to be welcoming Liz Gardiner C.E.O of Protect the UK’s whistleblowing charity to our webinar on 11th June.

As organisations start to plan how they will operate over the next few months there are likely to be many questions. Some concerns we are already hearing are:

a) What can I do if my organisation is pressing my team to come back to the office, but they don’t feel safe?
b) What happens if someone continually breaches new guidelines and the organisation is not taking it seriously?

It will be vital for organisations to create an environment where people feel able to raise such concerns and ensure they feel listened to. There won’t always be easy answers but acknowledging that these concerns are legitimate and very real and maintaining open channels of communication will be key.

Protect have a long history of advocating for best practice whistleblowing arrangements in organisations to ensure safety and integrity in all aspects of organisational life.

Liz will bring a wealth of experience in this area to the webinar and offer guidance for these and other issues that are being raised with their advice lines.

To register for this and the third webinar in this series please click here and to access our previous webinars please look at our resource page.

The way we behave towards each other in the workplace has a direct impact on individual wellbeing, team performance and organisational results. This belief has underpinned our work at Focal Point for over 20 years and has never been more relevant. We are privileged to work with a huge variety of organisations wanting to get workplace behaviour and culture right - and to tackle the inappropriate behaviour that may get in the way of this. Supported by our fantastic team of facilitators and coaches, we are able to make a real difference to peoples’ lives as well as organisational performance. Having worked in both large businesses at management level and in 2 start ups at director level, I am able to combine hands on experience of growing and managing teams - and the associated challenges in creating the right culture - with over 20 years in learning and development. I hold the Certificate in Training Practice and am a member of CIPD. When I am not supporting clients or developing the Focal Point business, you will find me in a calming yoga class...
