With over 30 years’ experience in learning management I was the first to design cross jurisdictional training for judges in Unconscious Bias Awareness; Appraisals and Mentoring skills. I have also worked on high profile projects like the Mubarek murder recommendations for improvement of prisoner treatment, and the Lammy Review: an independent review of the treatment of, and outcomes for, Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) individuals in the Criminal Justice System (CJS); commissioned by former Prime Minister David Cameron and chaired by David Lammy MP.

I joined the team in 2017 after spending many years as a secretary/PA, having worked in both London and Sydney, before finally settling on the sunny South Coast.
I have worked within Investment Banking, Law and Marketing companies over the years, and have run my own children's clothes shop and now work as a VA supporting a range of businesses.
When I am not working I am kept busy with my two children, husband and two miniature dachshunds, along with volunteering for the Royal Voluntary Service, as a Home Companion.
As part of the Focal Point Training team, I draw on my extensive HR experience of providing specialist input on all aspects of employee relations, change management and organisational development. I have held a number of senior roles at both a strategic and operational level. My most recent experience included establishing a mediation service within a large Mental Health charity.
I have a particular skill in resolving workplace conflict by helping people to find practical solutions to what are often complex and sensitive issues and have a track record of supporting teams to facilitate and implement effective change.
I am a fellow of the CIPD and have been trained by ACAS as a workplace mediator and obtained accreditation as a performance coach for the NHS through Strathclyde University.
When I am not training or coaching, you will find me taking my cocker spaniel for country walks, in the kitchen cooking (making a mess as my wife describes it) or attending a local pub quiz. I am a governor at a local primary school and I have recently taken training to become a 'life mentor' for young people. I could also be described as a fair weather cyclist and dream of leading the peloton in "Le Tour"!
